Taking a few minutes the night before to get organized.
1). Do you have trouble figuring out what to wear in the morning? Are you searching for the perfect skirt? Do you try to look for matching socks, only to find one navy and one black? Why not try planning out your outfit the night before? Lay out your shoes and accessories, too.
2). If you like to take showers in the morning, try washing your hair the night before so you don't have to wash and dry it in the morning because we all know that washing, drying, and styling can take 30 minutes to an hour.
3). Prepare your breakfast the night before, too. Not only will you be able to save time in the morning, you'll be able to eat a healthy meal to jump start your day. If you have time, try to plan out and prepare your breakfast meals on Sundays.
Taking a few minutes to yourself in the morning.
4). Leave your phone or iPad in another room. Ignore your emails and social media until you're ready to the leave the house or you get to work. If a stressful work email comes in during the night and it leaves you frazzled and stressed out, that's how the rest of your day will go.
5). Make a to-do list in the morning so you can stay focused throughout the day.
6). If you're a morning person, exercise for 45-60 minutes to help start your day on the right foot. If not, try to get five to 10 minutes of stretching in before you start your routine.
Overall, getting out of the house in the morning smoothly comes down to organizing your routine and planning in advance.
